HACK AID PLAST G :  Bonding agent for gypsum plaster

  • After 24 hours of its application; HACK AID PLAST G provides an adhesive or mechanical key to receive plaster or render coats of gypsum, light weight gypsum or anhydrous plasters
  • As a multipurpose adhesive for concrete, bricks, chinaware, renders, roofing-felt, stone, etc. where partially wet to wet application is required
  • Eliminates surface preparation procedures like hacking, cleaning shuttering oil etc.
  • Easy to apply by brush, roller or broom in a single coat
  • Green in colour, making it easy to identify the applied surface
  • It dries by evapouration, in 24 hours. Once drying is complete, gypsum plaster can then be applied at any time
  • Clean the surface with a water jet to free it of loose particles, dirt, dust, oils and paints etc. Allow the surface to dry completely. On the dry surface of the substrate, apply HACK AID PLAST G by brush, roller or broom. Allow it to dry for at least 24 hours. Then apply a thin layer of fresh gypsum plaster. Subsequently, apply another layer of fresh gypsum plaster as per the requirements of thickness / specifications.

HACK AID PLAST :  Bonding agent for plaster and glazed tiles

  • Bond between concrete and plaster
  • Bond between concrete and ceramic / glaze tile
  • Bond between new and old concrete
  • Holds the concrete tightly due to interaction polymerization
  • The bond strength increases after curing
  • Preserve the bond between steel and concrete
  • Non-ionic hence, no possibilities of attack on concrete by ions like chlorides, alkali sulphates, etc.
  • Clean the surface with water jet thoroughly to remove dirt, loose particles etc. On the entire clean moist surface, apply a coat of HACK AID PLAST by spray. When surface becomes tacky, apply a chat / dash-coat of cement mortar in 10 minutes. Check and ensure that the surface is tacky prior to application. Plaster the surface or place the concrete in the usual manner after setting of the chat / dash coat.

HACK AID PLAST SPL :  Acrylic bonding agent for PCC based plaster

  • Bond between concrete and plaster
  • Bond between concrete and ceramic / glaze tile
  • Bond between new and old concrete
  • Holds the concrete tightly due to interaction polymerization
  • The bond strength increases after curing
  • Preserve the bond between steel and concrete
  • Non-ionic hence, no possibilities of attack on concrete by ions like chlorides, alkali sulphates, etc.
  • Clean the surface with water jet thoroughly to remove dirt, loose, particles etc. Moisten the surface with water & apply a coat of HACK AID PLAST - SPL and cement (1:1). When the surface becomes tacky, apply a chat/dash-coat of cement mortar or place concrete within 10 minutes. Check and ensure that the surface is tacky prior to application. Plaster the surface or place the concrete in the usual manner after setting of the chat/ dash coat

POLYALK EP :   High performance acrylic polymer for mortar modification

  • Repair of RCC members, water tanks and industrial floors
  • Grouting of RCC members
  • Finish plastering for brick and block work
  • Heritage structures rehabilitation
  • Staircase steps retrofitting, foundation grouting
  • Pipe joints - new and repaired
  • Increases interfacial adhesion
  • Increases impermeability
  • Increases tensile and flexural strength
  • Compensates for volume changes due to shrinkage
  • Due to its simple application procedure, there is a significant reduction in labour cost and application time
  • POLYALK EP AS POLYMER CEMENT BONDING COAT (PCBC)

Take 0.5 part fresh cement, 1 part POLYALK EP (by weight). Mix thoroughly preferably using a mechanical mixer. Slurry of a consistency easily applicable by brush is ready for use as a bonding material. In special cases, this composition may be modified by consulting CMCD. Clean the surface on which the bonding coat is to be applied with a water jet approximately 24 hrs prior to application. Apply the bonding coat on the cleaned RCC surface by brush taking care to avoid pinholes. Immediately after application of the slurry on the requisite surface, place the next screed or mortar, etc. that is to come over its ‘wet on wet’ application.

  • POLYMER MODIFIED CEMENT MORTAR

Take 1 kg POLYALK EP, 5 kg fresh Cement, 15 kg Quartz sand (graded). (Polymer: Cement: Quartz Sand ratio is 1:5:15). This is a globally recommended composition. However, the proportion can be modified based on the Consultant’s recommendations. First dry mix the cement and graded sand in a mixer. Mix POLYALK EP with the premixed cement-sand in the mixer. Mix for at least 3 minutes. A mechanical mixer with a specially designed stirrer may be conveniently used. Add a requisite quantity of water to attain dough-like consistency so that it can be hand packed. The mortar is now ready for use.

  • POLYALK EP AS POLYMER RICH CEMENT MORTAR (PRCM)

Take 2 kg POLYALK EP, 5 kg fresh cement, and 15 kg graded quartz sand. (i.e. in the ratio of 2:5:15). Mix the three ingredients (without the addition of any water) preferably in a mechanical mixer, till a soft mix of uniform consistency is formed. A mix with this proportion has the required strength and flexibility suitable for filling cracks effectively.

  • POLYALK EP AS POLYMER CEMENT GROUT (PCG)

Take 1 kg POLYALK EP, 3 kg fresh cement and 2 kg water (i.e. in the ratio of 1:3:2). First mix POLYALK EP and water. Add this to the cement using a mechanical mixer till a slurry of uniform consistency is formed. Depending upon various needs of grout application, the above proportion of POLYALK EP may be modified by consulting CMCD.

POLYALK SUPERBOND U :  Bonding Agent for AAC Block to AAC Block and CC Brick Block to CC Brick Block

  • Bond between AAC blocks, CC bricks and CC Brick wall of the wall panels
  • POLYALK SUPERBOND U can be used for CC bricks compound wall for bonding without use of cement mortar and without any need of water curing
  • It can be used in the area where there is scanty rainfall as well as shortage of good quality sand
  • As the polymer cures, the bond strength also increases
  • Non-ionic hence, no possibilities of attack on concrete by ions like chlorides, alkali, sulphates, etc.
  • Will not stain or discolor concrete
  • Make the surface clean of loose particles, dirt, dust, oils, and paints etc by wire brush etc. Remove all laitance from surface.
  • On the entire clean surface, apply a coat of POLYALK SUPERBOND U and cement (1: 0.25) well stirred by spray or ordinary cement brush.
  • Fill up all bug holes with above slurry. Apply slurry generously on entire surface without pinholes. Similar treatment to be given to other block surface simultaneously.
  • Place coated area of one block over coated area of another block immediately after application. Make sure both the surfaces are tacky or wet.
